Q1: What is your husband’s story? Please, tell us a bit more about the work he does?

Ian is a senior carer in Lindisfarne care home Seaham. He was nominated as a key worker by his loving family for his dedication & hard work. Throughout the pandemic, he’s been working 50/60 hours per week without any hesitation to be there to care for the elderly.

Q2:  What are the things you and your husband are most grateful for having been working as a key worker during the pandemic?

Lifting his spirits throughout lockdown has been seeing beautiful granddaughter Amelia through window visits, memories that will be treasured forever. 15 weeks on getting to know Grandad all over again. We as a family are so proud of him.
