“The main challenges we found as a family was adjusting to me doing constant night shifts and my partner doing days so that between the two of us and my parents the girls would have care and a continued education.”
Q1: What is your story? Please, tell us a bit more about the work you do?
I'm a working mam with two gorgeous daughters. I've worked for Iceland for the last ten years. I actually met my partner of nine years at work.
Q2: What were the main challenges that you & your family faced during the pandemic?
The main challenges we found as a family was adjusting to me doing constant night shifts and my partner doing days so that between the two of us and my parents the girls would have care and a continued education.
Q3: What are the things you are most grateful for having been working as a key worker during the pandemic?
On the flip side I was actually grateful to be a key worker as it gave me and my family, a routine as close to normality as could have been during lockdown.
Q4: Tell us a little bit more about your experience with Newborn Born Story. Would you recommend us to a friend or colleague?
When I found out that my mam had entered myself in the competition with Newborn Story, I was really shocked especially when I won. Normally I'm the one always taking photos of my girls, so to be in front of the camera was quite daunting but I needn't have worried as the whole experience was amazing.
We all felt so relaxed and comfortable in the studio. I would definitely recommend yourselves to others. Thank you!
